Greetings fellow artists, this is another ballpoint pen ink drawing by Jerry Stith. I have been doing ink drawings from 1968 or for the past thirty-nine years. Straight ink is used on all of my drawings that appear within my gallery here or on my thirteen sites published world wide via the Internet. My drawings are completed with ink unless otherwise specified because it offers a great challenge.***** Introducing what ballpoint pen inks can do, as an art medium is why I am on the WWW. My sites have examples of forty different ballpoint pen artists from around the world or more than all others do! Archiving, documenting or recording this somewhat new art medium plus providing stats and facts is what my life is largely about. Showing people different point sizes, colors, styles or techniques helps demonstrate what others or I can do with an oil-based ink.***** If you look at my ink drawings you will see many different forms or variations. Expressing my creativity with subtle half tones, dark rich colors or bold flowing lines demonstrates what a ballpoint pen and its oil-based inks can do. The Internet has around one billion people registered and I am the most published ballpoint pen artist within those people. The Bic Pen Company has sold over one hundred billion pens and that is more than all other art instruments.***** Pen and Ink has been around fore over four thousand years and a ballpoint is the most sold pen of them all. BallPoint pen art is most likely the largest undeveloped movement in history because of the vast amount of people drawing with them. Introducing what a ballpoint pen can do as an art medium placed me in art history as a world leader. My fifty years as an artist has taught me much particularly since I have lived in around forty different towns or cities.
