Unconventional,enigmatic,introspective...prolific singer/ songwriter & personality, John Lennon influenced a generation and beyond with his music.
"All we are saying is give peace a chance".
One can tell how deeply He affected the World. In Artists' Portfolios,He is almost always the One...that is Their Deepest...most well Thought Work.Somehow,He planted Seeds of Creation.Beautiful Depth,Kathryn!
Simply amazing work Kathryn. A portrait of a man who could have changed the world, if only he was still here with us. Once again you have blown me away with your amazing work. Truly an excellent heartfelt work.
This is a very good portrait of John. It stood out from your other excellent portraits for me, Kathryn. Like any original Beatles fan, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing on the day he died. I like your dot-technique; you've achieved such subtley of expression with it.
When, oh when will Ringo get any love? All I'm saying is give Ringo a chance! Oh, by the way, this picture rules! Especially around the cheeks. All the right dots in all the right spots. I couldn't do this if you paid me a zillion dollars (although, if you did, then baby, I'd be a rich man).
Stippling! WOW. This is PHENOMINAL!I'm so impressed with your work, Kathryn, I'm adding you to my artwatch RIGHT NOW. How'd I go all this time without seeing your work, until you commented on mine.
oh, you're a DOTTER! you're work is so good that if he didn't look just like this, he should have. there is a different quality about this Lennon. have you seen his work?
Hello Kathryn! How are you? This is fabulous. Lennon was a very complex personality behind all the peace, love and freedom stuff! I always perceived his face as sharp and clever but you have somehow captured the vulnerability behind the facade he presented to the world. A Masterpiece from the Master. I just love it!
Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your comments! Much appreciated!
I love pointalism. Haven't done it since artschool. But seeing your beautiful work, I might do one again. It is fun to watch as parts of the face spring up to life!!! Great Job!!
Excellent portrait... and i love the way you did it... with dots. When i was i highschool i reproduced Leonardo's "last Supper" that way... in the end i thought i had gone mad ;)
Wonderful portarait study of a monumental figure of our times. Kathryn, as always, your work is of the highest quality and full of character. As far as the man goes, he was as imperfect as the rest of us, not afraid to admit it, and willing to take a stand for human rights and a world without war. Great choice of subjects Kathryn, John you are missed.
