This is an older phto. Thank you so much for visting my site. In addition to art and poetry I also enjoy creating costumes and doing makeup, for plays or fun occasions. This is a self portrait! No there is not a man under the veil. I am a women! Some have insulted me in the past by such suggestions. I value my feminine side as I do my masculine traits. After all, male and female are part of each other. My life has been a great trial, as I have had to overcome much childhood abuse and trauma. Thus I have had to nuture the masculine side of my personality more than most women. The world can be a cruel place to live. I endeavor to see the good in all things and to keep beauty in my life and the tender side also. The mystery of a women is fascinating to me therefore the veil. It is the mystery of the mind and the women that lures love to her. Whatever you think of this work, it does not matter. But please do not leave insults on my pages. I shall return the favor in keeping with Gods' Laws. Love one another, do good, blaspheme not, Judge not least you be judged. If it is possible try to live peaceably with all men. He who slanders his brother is in danger of the wrath of God...do not let the sun go down on your anger. God looks upon the Heart not the outward appearance. Take care. Live Forever Love Always. I like the first version best. Subtle color changes don't distract from the mysterious eyes, but because of the color change your eyes are drawn to the face. In the blue one I was drawn simply to the star on the forehead rather than the eyes. Very well done!Sara Deutsch 21 Jul 2006
