The image is a great and terrible example of starvation. If we could only donate money to resolve the starvation it would be wonderful. However with corrupt political regimes that purposely starve their own people or at best only feed their soldiers with the donated money and food. The problem is more complex than just giving the money. We need to find some way to give the downtrodden a voice in their own countries. This is a tough job to accomplish.Hillary Herring 30 Jun 2008
