Here is an update on my drawing “The Tramp (A Self Portrait) 9 x 12 Arteza Expert Drawing pencils on Arteza Premium 80lb Drawing Pad paper. I’m still playing around with the tones, focusing on creating realistic skin. I’m layering my graphite by making tiny overlapping circular motions with my pencil. Because there is a slight tooth to the paper, I’m noticing that I have to use a light touch, even with harder grades of pencils so that so don’t get too dark. More to come soon!
