The Enchantment of Leaves

This was taken at the end of Autumn when the streets were filled with countless fallen leaves of various shapes and colors. I enhanced the colors to highlight the beauty and diversity of the end of the Autumn and the beginning of Winter. The vibrant colors looked like an enchanted garden, another magnificent show of nature's magic.

"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit," wrote Emerson. Formerly green leaves turn to brilliant shades of majestic ruby, amber, and gold leaves that blend to create a vibrant display of color. Yours even turn into blue and purple!~~ A bright canopy –orange/yellow over green--they drift and settle-- become a soft silk carpet-- tunnel of vivid color.

Artist Reply: I adore your poetic responses to my photography. They are very inspiring, especially Emerson who I have always admired and read his prose and poetry.
