Teagan

This little beagle was going to be in graphite, but just begged to be done in color. She was my second color pencil drawing ever and turned out better than I'd hoped. Commission, 8"X10" bristol smooth, original sold, prints available.

Hello, Mariene! this brings tears to my eyes. It is very adorable and so much like my Beagle when he was found as a abused pup by my brother and I took him home and his life was saved from death, he would have died the next day if we would have not taken him to the vet. Now he is eleven years and I have struggled to keep him. Lots of problems and sadness. My X did not want him and I had to sell him to someone for awhile but got him back and then had to part ways with my X because of cruelty to him and me. My Beagle is "Bandit". You can see him on my site. I love your drawing here. It is reaaly wonderful. I can see you love animals. That is such a blessed thing to know in this world of some who do not have tender hearts. Thank you for visiting my site and leaving a comment. I appreciate it greatly. It is a pleasure to meet you here and share a monent with you. I pray that all your life is filled with love and goodness and that the Creator of all things would keep you and your family safe within the arms of grace. God be with you Eternally. Sinseerly CB

Joyful and loud bow-vow to express my appreciation of your kind art! Marlene, do you love people as much? SASHA

Artist Reply: thank you
Artist Reply: "Do you love people as much?" You know, some days I don't think I do. Animals, especially our pets, have such unconditional love for us. When I see what people can do to each other and to animals, it's hard to like mankind much. But there are notable exceptions that keep me believing... Thank you for your comments. They make me stop and think, and that's a good thing.

This is so very beautiful Marlene...Teagan has the sweetest little face and your pencil skills are amazing!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Vickie. She really was fun to do. The client was thrilled, since she thought she was getting graphite! But I just had to do the color. The color pallette was limited, so I took the plunge (only my second color ever).
