Dale ! Hmm' here in NASCAR country (I live about 8km from Bristol) Dale is nearly worshiped. I like his son and MM. beautiful piece that captures his nice side (if he had one!).

Excellent portrait of a very successful champion, and I don't think the graininess takes away from this piece at all. If anything it adds to it...you have a real classy look here, and I think it's very good artwork. Wonderful job!

This is a great portrait of Dale. As far as graininess, does your scanner have a descreen filter? that might help. Or if you scan into photoshop, run a despeckle filter on it. You might try a very slight gaussian blur but only a little bit so you don't lose detail.

Karen, this is stunning. Grainy or not( I like that effect). The colors in the individual hairs of his moustache, the fine lines around his eyes and mouth, HIS EYES. Phenominal. EXCELLENT pencil work!
