This sure does bring back memories.... as a girl we raised all our food. Bought next to nothing from the food market. our big gift once a month was a loaf of Wonder bread........ mom made all of ours. I love this painting my friend,

Anneke: This takes me back. I grew up on a farm in Illinois and my Dad milked a few cows. I remember him sitting by the cows just like in your painting, although it was inside a large, old barn. He was quite a joker and would always try to "squirt" me with milk right out of the cow!
