Floating Jewel, Weddell Sea

Oil on canvas 42 x 50”/107 x 127 cm This gorgeous berg was sitting there in the midst of a sea of ice in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica. The dark stripe is a layer of older ice. This phathlo blue is one of my favourite colours and to see this turquoise beauty just sitting there, gave me the shivers.
