This great old National Cash Register is still in use after more than 100 years at the feed mill in Lewisville, Texas. I was given a demonstration and the ding of the bell is still magical.

How awesome - so very cool - do I see a candy jar to the left as well? Incredible it is still in use! Great photo of such a wonderful treasure!

Artist Reply: I have a number of shots taken at this great old store...don't remember any candy jar; hmmm, now I will have to go back and take another look :)

Antiques are wonderful, and you have a great capture of this beautiful machine. I note that the dollars display only allows two digits. Retail transactions requiring more than that were unusual in those days. Thanks!

Artist Reply: thanks for viewing and leaving a nice comment, John!
