Sterling Heights MI- II- Done *see zoomed color

This is another drawing from a photo by Snix at the Sterling Heights Concert. My fav color is blue, all blues, but the blue in the shirt he wore at this concert was especially attractive to me. This is the beginning, but I don't know if I should "colorize" it or keep it in graphite/pencil only. If any one has a suggestion about color or no color of the shirt, let me know. I might agree, and do it.:)) I decided to do both. The colored one was done with mixed media. The face, and hand with "Paint" program, the shirt, with blue fingernail polish.

Carliss: You definitely have a great portrait ability. Your work is quite amazing!

Artist Reply: Thanks for thinking so, Vis!! I have to admit I try, and have plenty of practice here, to prove it. Portraits have always been my favorite.

The way you fad him into the black background is outstanding. You have this man down to a science.

Artist Reply: Janet, sometimes I think we're in each other's heads. Lol!! Maybe we can exchange tips. Thanks, though, and it's always a fun to get comments from you!
