This is another drawing from a photo by Snix at the Sterling Heights Concert. My fav color is blue, all blues, but the blue in the shirt he wore at this concert was especially attractive to me. This is the beginning, but I don't know if I should "colorize" it or keep it in graphite/pencil only. If any one has a suggestion about color or no color of the shirt, let me know. I might agree, and do it.:)) I decided to do both. The colored one was done with mixed media. The face, and hand with "Paint" program, the shirt, with blue fingernail polish.

I like the colored one,too.. REALLY DRAMATIC, and the blue is ELECTRIC. PAINT? You and me have the same "art" program!! HeeHEEE!!! That's HARD WORK!! This is awesome, Carliss!!Anonymous Guest 02 Aug 2007
I like both and I think it has an ethereal beauty to it. Very light, delicate and very captivating. Jackiekaren bellows 02 Aug 2007
Carliss! This was my concert....thank you for doing this. Put me down as one who loves the colored version. (Oh fine...you know me...I love both versions...: ) ) While the colored one might give his face a bit of washed out look over all, I find his individual facial features jump out at me more in the colored one. They seem softened in the all black and white. Weird, eh? It was a pretty blue shirt....: )Ruth Kauffman 01 Aug 2007
My goodness, Carliss...when I first looked at this picture, it wasn't colored...you sure work fast!!! Excellent work as usual...It's a beautiful blue color but I'm not sure if it adds to the picture...might give him a bit of a washed out look like maybe the blue is a little "heavy" or too much?? Just my opinion... None the less...superb work!!!Renata Cavanaugh 01 Aug 2007

This looks very beautiful and I can tell it's going to be perfect! In my opinion, I think you should add color. It would make it look fantastic! ^_^Carrie Ann Watson 01 Aug 2007

Why not do one each...one color and one black and white. Or just a touch of color here and there :) Have a good day Carliss.jamie winter 01 Aug 2007

Wow ! This is going to be one beautiful drawing, and I can't wait to see the finished piece. That face is wonderful. I have been unable to see Clay in these summer concerts but will see Christmas concert in Waukegan IL. JackieEmily Reed 31 Jul 2007
