Black Labrador Retriever Puppy

This is my second attempt with colored pencils (the first one didn't turn out too well but I learned quickly what not to do) I used my daughter's Crayola colored pencils on a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of acid free, 70lb drawing paper by Bienfang. I found out that it sure takes some ellbow grease to get the colors to be almost solid. It was hard on my hands and somewhat difficult using a new medium. The colors don't blend as well as acrylic paints do and a lot more planning was necessary to create this drawing. Im kind of pleased with the outcome although I still need to practice some more. Thanks for looking.

This is just lovely for your second attempt at pencils. It is hard changing to a new medium, you have to teach yourself how to use them, but I would definitely carry on if I were you, great potential:)
