This is my second attempt with colored pencils (the first one didn't turn out too well but I learned quickly what not to do) I used my daughter's Crayola colored pencils on a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of acid free, 70lb drawing paper by Bienfang. I found out that it sure takes some ellbow grease to get the colors to be almost solid. It was hard on my hands and somewhat difficult using a new medium. The colors don't blend as well as acrylic paints do and a lot more planning was necessary to create this drawing. Im kind of pleased with the outcome although I still need to practice some more. Thanks for looking.

This is just lovely for your second attempt at pencils. It is hard changing to a new medium, you have to teach yourself how to use them, but I would definitely carry on if I were you, great potential:)Jerry 07 Apr 2007

This is super, tina.. I've tried color pencils but not very successfully. Think I'll stick to Acrylics.. Black fur is difficult to paint, sometimes and even moreso with color pencils. Super job!! LouAnnAnna Sylvester 06 Apr 2007
