This is an acrylic painting with impasto and a sculpted tiger on canvas. A century ago, there were 100,000 tigers. Now there are only approximately 3200 remaining. Soon they will be extinct unless mankind changes its ways and certain cultures stop paying to have them killed them to use parts of their bodies based on strange medicinal beliefs and as aphrodisiacs to increase virility. This painting is dedicated to the magnificent tigers.
