Giverny across from Monet's

This scene was across from Claude Monet’s house, gardens and waterlily ponds. I hope that you enjoy!

What a magnificent view and a breathtaking photo, Sharon! Once again, you have manage to capture beauty and serenity, all in one photo! Your photo is perfect! This type of scene is what you will find everywhere in our Blue Ridge Mountains! It is a tranquil scene of a place that just about anyone would want to spend all afternoon at, lying around doing absolutely nothing! It is Heaven on Earth! I have explored places like this so many times while in the mountains! And... every time, these places, like this one, are cool or sunny, peaceful and necessary! Necessary... because these type of places are very, very soothing to the soul! Necessary... because places like this one, reminds us of a time when life was slower, calmer and much, much different from today's fast pace crazy world!

Hello Sharon, I am finally home and viewing your spectacular view of Giverny so expertly captured. Monet happens to be one of my favorite artists. When I post some of my impressionistic works you will see the influence.Your photos transport one to the scene.
