Bird on a wire

Does any one know what kind of little bird this is? Teresa Ramalhao , from Portugul, said it is a Sparrow, and so did Anna Marie Fritz. Thanks so much Gals for the info. He/she was so sweet. Photo by Sharon Lee, copyright 2009.

Artist Reply: Hi Brenda, a couple of people said a Sparrow. Thanks, I finally got a 300MM lens and boy has it made a difference. If they made a 800mm lens, I would eventually buy it, just to get close.

Love and admiration! Not only good she is unsurpassed in her field, but able to sustain a solid mixture of detail,energy and natural observation, with culture that one finds so wonderfully entertaining.
