Acrylic painting done with palette knife. I don't know what happened to my original photo of this painting. This is my compressed photo. So some detail is lost in this. This is SOLD!
Very nice, Sharon! We recently discovered a cascading waterfall deep in the mountains! We had to hike a little to get to it, but it was completely hidden from the outside world and so serene with natural beauty all around! You would enjoy painting it! Unfortunately, my camera battery died just before we started hiking and I had to take pictures with my camera phone, so... the photos weren't as clear as what I would get from my Canon Rebel! I am notorious for never charging that battery! It also went dead on me when we were at the Biltmore Estates one year! You'd think I'd learn by now!
This is so beautiful Sharon I am so sorry I haven't visited sooner ... Life takes so many turns when you give it up and it's not your own ... but I would love to turn into this precious hideaway any time !!!
I so miss coming across these little pleasure spots in the deep woods of NC. Very nice painting Sharon.

Sharon, you need no more detail than you have in this painting... it is lovely! It gives such a feeling of intimacy, like I am the only person in the world to see this secluded spot!
I could swear I saw this and commented on it but I do not see it so will do so now. This is a beautiful and peaceful scene. I would love to see it in real life by your painting almost puts me there. Beautiful work.
Hi Sharon, nice piece! Again realistic colours in acrylic...I'm so jealous...I hate acrylics..dry too fast and kill my brushes!!
