Morning Fog (Gonna be a bright and sunshiny day)

My personal "Thank you!!" to you all: After looking at many, many paintings here at Art Wanted I went to my studio last Sunday morning - and this is the result. It feels inspired by all the wonderful artwork I have seen here. // I am showing thsi painting as close to reality as I can - which is very difficult as the tender shades of green and the darker green of the grass at the foot of the painting don't quite show the way i would like it. - I hope you will enjoy this little piece of peace anyway! // Box canvas, painted sides. 40x40x1.5"/100x100x4cm.

Breeze - Love the gradation of beautiful colors. Of course the words remind me of one of my favorite songs, too.

Artist Reply: Yeeeeah, I really did sing a little while working on this one. It was not that particular song, that idea occurred later to me when I looked at the painting again. But it is an intentional tip of the hat, indeed...

Breeze, I know just what you mean! It's hard NOT to be inspired on this site! Your painting is beautiful and so electric, although you say it is peace. It is a joyful painting. Joy, I'm told is peace dancing, so there you go. . .

Artist Reply: Hi, Dell! Great to have you visit and thanks once more for your comment on the blog/book, too. And I'm with you here: Nobody wise ever tried to forbid laughing and dancing. :-)
