I like the soft colors, Annette, the blues and the pinks especially. There is almost a de-composition rather than the usual composition going on here. To me it's almost as though acid has eaten into the surface in places. The covered head and the hand to the forehead suggests weariness coupled with resignation. If you had chosen to leave this piece untitled, the emotive quality of the work would still have conveyed itself to the viewer, I think. :)Alex Preiss 27 Aug 2007
