Blues In The Brainpan

This piece began as a drawing in blue oil-based gel ink. I then added other color gels to the mix. Image area is 8 inches by 5 inches on acid-free paper. Original Jones Art playing the blues in Austin, Texas..

Marvelous, as usual!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Alexia! Someone gave me that blue gel pen I used here. Never found another like it. Obviously wasn't popular enough with the rank and file. It went on smoother than the usual gel pen. This was part of my very abbreviated 'blue period.' :)

Well done Charles!!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Becky. This one IS a little 'bluesy,' I think, but with lots of color added. :)
