Touched

Ever since Einstein we know: Everything - even matter - is energy. And some of you will know exactly what I mean when I say that we (being energy) are connected to this energy of the universe. That it touches us. That we can physically feel it and by this we recharge ourselves. // Acrylics on box canvas (bit less than 1 inch deep, black sides). Some glittering elements (see details on close up)

Nice topic and brilliant execution

Artist Reply: Thank you, Akber. I appreciate this comment!

I like the image because its different, and of course beautiful. As an amateur astronomer, I know what the night sky looks like but its difficult to get an entire concept (of the universe) on paper /canvas. Cool and sick. (sick in a good MTV way).

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Greg. I've been inspired by pictures from the Hubble telescope. So there you go: Astronomy as a definite source for beauty on canvas.

eindrucksvoll wie Farbe und Bewegung miteinander verwoben sind

At first glance I thought it was a close up of reflections on water, it's absolutley incredible how you captured the movement, and I just love the colours. Beautiful work Bernard. You're so right about energy. "Although each person seems separate and independent, all of us are connected to patterns of intelligence that goven the whole cosmos. Our bodies are part of a universal body, our minds an aspect of a universal mind" Deepak Chopra
