Two concepts at work here. The title is the drink and what we see is the drink in the form of the crashing waves and the drink in the sense of nourishment. Overall life and the survival of life is what this images is saying.
Though Christine YOU know right now I have found one more sense for this Work... There is something like from Shakespeare's Hamlet... TO BE OR NOT TO BE... To make the Drink or Not... Even like from the Bible, to drink this cup... I so her meditations above this choice... Yeah, right now I am also full of different meditations, but anyway in difference of her I already choosen.
