Good perspective and good confirmation of both scene and horse.Preferred state of the 'rules that are never written' suggest that the main subject not be 'centered' in the paintingl Here you have both sun and horse dead center.

Anneke, I've been working on my first acrylic, and can appreciate the skill used here. Your mind has to be fast to keep up with the rapid drying time of the paint. Great work!

The horse may be a little skewed the back leg but this work has so much more going for it than that. Great color, modeling, and composition. Don't stop working with horses. Always be true to yourself and go where your heart leads you! Bravo Anneke!!!
