Very nice work here!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Ginger! I recently picked up some 'new' color gel pens. I guess it's about time to open them up and see if they are similar to the ones I used almost twenty years ago. How the years have flown by! Hope you and yours are staying safe and doing great. :)

OUTSTANDING

Artist Reply: Yes, I used nothing but color gel pens here and achieved a rather painterly feel, I think. The gel pens I have now do not have the creamy feel these did. Hope you are doing great, Elton

Love the precision of detail here. I was caught up with melancholy in the facial expression.

Daniel Green 22 Mar 2007

the tone and pervasive melancholy is quite intriguing

interesting piece here! Nice mood to it! Kinda Salvadorian feel.

Artist Reply: Clayton, I didn't think I played with my Dali anymore, but who knows? :) Thanks for your comment.

Strange flower, Charles ... What I really like about your work, this drawing included, is that it's narrative without being verbose. I think your biography explains why. :-)
