Portrait of a grandfather and granddaughter done in sepia tones. The original intent was to extend the portrait to just below the girl's embrace, including both of her hands. But as I began to complete the first hand, I noticed that the silhouette of the portrait was taking on the shape of a heart. I liked the effect and kept it.

I think this is absolutely wonderful and charming. What a lovely portrait. I love the "heart" shape the hand and arms make too. Good call to leave is as such.
