All of your art is quite stunning, but I particularly like this one, not only for the drawing and colouring skill you've shown, but too for the way you have 'got inside' the mood of the subject; she makes me want to smile right back at her.
She looks absolutely thrilled to be standing there with that huge load. The skin tone is beautiful and I love the balance you created with the background, yet allowing her to dominate the portrait. I found myself looking at this for an extended period of time, and wondering about her life. Thanks for taking me to another place.
