I had an eventful few blocks to walk from the bus to my house. I saw a man walking with a wild hawk on his arm. We spoke and he said he uses the hawk for hunting and a family passed by and they petted the hawk. He uses the hawk so he doesn't have to use a gun, so the hawk will fly and get the bird or prey and come back. Just a regular street interaction!

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Vicki! It was an eventful two block walk from the bus! First I ran into a young woman named Zahra . I saw she was in pain and we spoke a while and she was on her way to work but twisted her ankle. I did not know, but proceeded to tell her what to do! LOL I am not bossy at all! I said she should go home and she was so worried about work that she went on face time and I spoke with a colleague! Then a block later I saw the hawk! He was a really friendly man and I was surprised when a whole family came up and petted the hawk! He is a wild animals soooo who knows? I would not have done it, but I guess the hawk is fairly used to people as he seems very chatty and friendly...like someone else I know maybe? Thanks Vicki for your comment!
