I agree with Calvin, another form of creativity, done with charm and spontaneous joy, love the vibrant color scheme ,very much enjoy all your works Sharon, doodle or complex, I still look daily at the little print of the bridge here you did,it is on my desk:)))
i am a staunch supporter of the doodle being a habitual doodler myself. Donald's comment is way off the mark. Doodling is an aimless art that is best expressed without thought or intention or care for those qualitative concerns we normally burden ourselves with in our work. If we so merit, the historians will find (and document)even the "crap" we tried so hard to hide from our fans. We would like it to appear that everyrthing we have done has been so artistically sound but in fact nothing is further from the truth. That is the province of GOD.
I am a little hesitant to express my opinion of this but would be unfair not to. You have so much work in these books and this artwork is no ware near the quality of what I look forward to from you. I realize this is a free form expression and all but compared to most of your work is amaturish. I am not trying to be critical but was disapointed that you would put this work with all the wonderful works you have displayed to date. Forgive me but I consider you an artistic friend and would be less then truthful if I said I liked this.
YOUR IMAGINATION JUST KEEPS GOING MY FRIEND.. AND JUST "WHAT" IS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND WHEN YOU THINK UP SOME OF THESE DESIGNS??? AND HOW WELL DO THE BOOKS SHUT WITH ALL YOUR GREAT BEAD WORK?? JOANIE
