I was putting things back in my shed after a tag sale today. I saw this turtle in the grass and ran for my camera. I took macro capture of him. I didn't want to touch him not knowing what type he was.
They grow up to be big snapping turtles, too!
We had one in our yard once.
Must have come up from the creek.
It was after a huge rain we had.
Whew! I'm glad you didn't pick him up, Too!
