A contemporary mixed medium painting, absolutely SMASHING to see LIFE!

(Unfortunately a picture can never show how it looks in reality)
2nd photo: Excerpt of Louis Vuiton zipper

I added cheese cloth, scraps of archival matte paper, sheet music and many (very thin) layers of gloss medium & varnish (which is still workable after it dries).
These layers softened the plies of the cheese cloth.

This piece has a metal, yet a very soft look.
Main color is black and gold with here and there some red and blue.

I invite you to hoover over the painting with the zoom to see the details.

Momentarily this piece is exhibited in the in the show for Art Instructors at the library of the University of Delaware, Wilmington Campus.

ZIP IT! can be hung horizontally as well as vertically.
My students said: it's either female or masculine.

Schitterend schilderij, Olga! De rits lijkt op een versteend beestje. Wat een geweldig idee met die sleutels! Weer zeer inspirerend!

I love this Olga and I give you top remarks for making it. It invites touch and retouch and licking and then making love to somebody.

Fantastic painting, Olga ! I love both, but it seems to me that vertical direction gives more dynamism ! My POD !

Artist Reply: The vertical direction is my preference too, Iza! Thank you so much for critiquing!! And thanks for the honor of your POD! Love and Light, Olga
