Twin Towers

I painted this in oil years ago from a photo I took on one of my trips to New York City. I did not know then what Meaning it would hold today.

Oh how beautiful...really a touching painting, Sharon. They were so tall and magnificent and you really captured their beauty. Very emotional to see, but a great way to remember these architectural wonders. I really like the gray tones, they make the towers seem at peace. I am so glad you were able to get to see them in person and capture their beauty in your art. Wonderful job on this : )

Yes, they wiil remain in our memories. I had the oportunity to visit the penthouse twice, in 1980 and later in 1999. I still have the visiting ticket in a small silver frame and it hangs in the wall of my studio.

Very well done Sharon and I am sure that none of us that experience it even throug others had no idea. I had a coworker whos wife was an airline stewardess and she was on a cell phone with the girl while it was going on. The girl did not survive.
