is a version of the
first one
"S O L
E I L" .
I kept the colors more simple, but
the texture is heaver.
"Soleil (2)" is part of my
exhibit
"As the World Turns"
at the Osher Institute (University
of Delaware)
September 6-16,
2011
It also will be part of my art
workshop October 22, 2011
for the
DFVA Kaleidoscope for
High
School Students,
which will be held
at Delaware College of Art and Design.
to see all the details and textures in this small (12x12 inches) box canvas!
It's considered a "collage" painting,
because there's sheet music and news paper incorporated in the sun beams.
I used crushed egg shells in the sun.
For the background I used modeling paste,
in which I printed all kind of shapes, when it was still wet .
