I come from a long line of
pack-rats. I
eventually came to realize that this dragon
was me.
This painting represents a shift in values
when, within a very short time span, I
watched as 4 special people let go of life.
Part of me wants to keep their memory
alive by hoarding the things that remind
me of them, until I remember that
ultimately they cared very little about
material things and cared most about the
people around them. Their memories will
live in my heart forever.

Excellent work, especially the details and 3-D look. I enjoy browsing through your artwork because I love your style of creation and the subjects you touch on!! Mark Kokopelli...John Cappello 21 Jun 2012

I saw this one in real life and remember it made an impact on me. Such life and vibrance in the paint details and found objects. Good work Diana!Fiona Hooper 21 Jun 2012
Wow, Diana, fantastic work. So sorry that it was inspired by such tragic events. They live on through you. Never let them be forgotten.
