"Unicorn Dream" 5"x7" Chalk pastel on pastel board. The unicorn is from European folklore. Described as an extremely wild woodland creature, it was a symbol of purity and grace, and could only be captured by a virgin. Its horn was said to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness.
