Hello Everyone

Just a few words to say HELLO and tell you I am returning to ArtWanted.com after several years of not working much on my artwork.

The COVID pandemic hurt a lot of people and a LOT of other things. Such as isolation from friends and even family to protect one another. Our spirits were hurt too, by all the many things it caused which was not good.

I managed to do a little work using Procreate on my IPad, but very little painting or drawing which used to fill my free time. I have posted a few things this past week thanks to a friend (Joanie Holiday) who wrote to me and said "Where Are you?" It meant the world to me. I see a few people have visited my site and I thank you very much. I hope this year is a better year for EVERYONE in every way, and I hope I start painting and drawing again. I just finished a 26 X 30 Acrylic painting I did for a loved one. Will post it soon.

Thanks to all of you who visit site, and God Bless you, keep you safe and well and let 2023 be your BEST Year ever! Special blessings to you Joanie! Thanks for gettiing me back here.

Sheila

Welcome back. I just started back here as well after a long while. I was mainly writing on a few other sites, but now I am drawing again.

Welcome back! I also became active again here at AW this past August after many years of being absent. Over the years, I've maintained galleries on other sites, and still do but I'm really enjoying being back and all of the interaction here at ArtWanted.

Thank you Sheila. I hope things are going good for you. I still have so much to do and wonder when I'll get back to painting. I do some photos to post now and then but check AW each day so see all the art . God bless you.

Dear Sheila.Hello there! I can identify with you (see my e-mail of today)! Circumstances and illness and many other factors sometimes take us away from our love and need for being active with art but we do return to the art world again as it is part of our being and DNA.Once an artist....always an artist. Some of us go through tremendous trials and sickness of self or family members and also various other "life happens" reasons. However, when we return we are a richer (not fiscally) and more fuller person. We are therefore more able to convey love and passion and many other emotions and feeling into our art...creating art that the onlookers could appreciate and live with and understand...our art like almost jumping from the canvasses.Welcome back Sheila.
