Soooo Great of you to take the time to share this , such a great peice too. It was inspiring as i am not familiar with this medium yet always facinated by it.

I just realized I don't need a cat to do this...I really thought what you posted was a photograph!..Very cool work Christina.. Even better i don't need a cat..I'd be sneezing through it!..LOL Can't wait to try this..Thanks!

very interesting. never thought of scratchboard as a surface for painting. I've always used it primarily as a black and white "etching" kind of thing.

I'm so excited that I am able to inspire people to try this medium. I hope you all enjoy it! (I suggest starting small... it is a little overwhelming at first!)

I would love for everyone to post their images in the general discussion... maybe as a "I tried the scratchboard and acrylic!" or something? I'd hate to miss your work - so please somehow let me know if you happen to try it, even if you just e-mail me personally! :)

I have done a few scratchboards,there is something therapeutic(sp?) about them.I have never colored one though,this was damn enjoyable good job Christina.
