This self-portrait was done back when I had hair. Down in the basement, I did not have much lighting to work with, so I made the best of a dark situation. Given the background of the piece, I felt it was obligatory, in the title, to express how much I did not feel elevated at the time and was in no way comparing myself to Jesus Christ. Nowadays, I still get comments on how much I used to look like Jesus, so now all I do is laugh.
