During my time in college, it was a struggle to find my voice. It was harrowing when I was faced with my instructor's honest opinions, so I made it a point to make my voice be a goal before I graduated. This was a result of that time period, and I think it represents what a lot of struggling art students can go through during this time. This painting was also done on a recycled piece that I found in the trash.
