Twilight, White Cliffs. 2010

White Cliffs is an opal mining area in outback NSW Australia. It is more comfortable for people to live underground than to brave the up to 50 degree celsius heat. This photo is taken from the "roof" of the underground motel and is facing away from the sunset. It was possible to see these colours for a full 360 degree horizon.

Beautiful capture

Artist Reply: Thanks Heloisa. I like it a lot and am thinking of doing a painting.
