No way could I drive by trees covered in large, lavender bell-shaped blossoms. These traffic stoppers are Paulownia or Royal Empress Trees that can grown as much as 18' the first year.

Artist Reply: oh yes....we have already been up in the mid-80's but today it's only a high of low 40's (degrees) that's Texas weather, especially in Spring!
