TWU, Texas Womens University in Denton, Texas has a waterlily pond tucked away under the cottonwood, cypress and oak trees. The shade was very welcome since it was 98 degrees today and not even summer officially. Next year, I plan to go a little earlier so I can catch the yellow water iris blooming in a thick mass surrounding the pond. It is a beautiful spot even with cotton falling everywhere from the tall, old cottonwood at one end. There are schools of minnows and turtles sliding off the lily pads to complete the teaming life of a campus oasis.

Your florals are fantastic! I want to comment on every single one. Your macros give me inspiration to do better.
