Cezanne's Self Portrait

As exercise for portraiture class, I chose one of Cezanne's many self- portraits to imitate. I started with the orange ground and added the yellow and brown paint and pushed it around until I achieved the likeness.

Artist Reply: As to the choice of colors and the expression on the face, I guess I have to credit Monsieur Cezanne himself. But I am pleased with my version of it.
