this started as a picture i took of myself in a mirror. the camera is covered up by a flower. i added flames around the centre and then put on a sort of coloured foil effect to the whole picture. i like how the whole picture turned out, and the pose i have. i'm also working on a project (with a whole set of pictures) that started with another version of this picture. i'll probably call it something like "dans la prison du le moulin rouge" (in the prison of the moulin rouge), where green fairies and bottles of absinthe and demons and ghosts abound, representing those trapped within this legendary place of glamour and excess.
