(c) Art By ASM: Annamaria Settanni McDonald "SUMMER" This painting began completely different, I am not sure what, but it then turned into a Madonna Pop Singer Portrait which then turned into more of a Mother Nature Summery Portrait. With the addition to Leaves and Branches, I stuck with the "Mother Nature in the Summer". I created the big eyes like I do in some of my paintings in the past. I love how the eyes pop and how the lips are plump. I am starting to do this new effect with my leaves and branches. Also her hair is divided to show the early stage of summer to the latter stage of summer. The lightness of new and the turning of the colors into the early fall colors. You'll see more of this effect in future art. It was a fun painting to do and I am happy with the end results!
