Mono type, paper size 22 x 30, I have been out of touch for the past week. I have been spending time house sitting & dog sitting for a friend who has a VERY large press and spent the past week getting for a show. I reframed some work and this piece was one that I removed and was able to shoot. I hope you enjoy it.

This is a fantastic piece, love the composition and your use of colours.

Artist Reply: Thank you Milan, this was a fun piece to make I liked how the colors started blending as I started layer ... The title came from the movie of the same name...Kevin Spacey in the Bobby Darin story there was a sculpture that looked like this in a shot in the film I felt the idea would make a great mono print. Thanks for looking at my work. KAT

Gives me a Sea Feeling Kat ! Super

Artist Reply: Thanks Denny, the name comes from the movie by the same name. Kevin Spacey's movie about Bobby Darin. There was a scene in the first house the Darin buys while married to Sandra Dee as the camera pans over the decor very breifly and I spotted this metal sculpture on the wall. I felt it would make a good print enableing me to use the press to greate color through layering 2 colors over eachother and where they overlap make a 3rd color or hue. There is a pearlessencce to this piece that I was very happy to have createded. I want to explore this layering more but each time I am at a press what flows from me that day is what I get. I will be gettin another block of time at the huge press that I just spent time on in June. so I might revist this and see what we get then.
