I had the privilege of visiting my friends' home and getting to photograph their "babies"; the little calf lying down was born just the day before and all were justifiably proud.

Looks like they love him very much too. The Father looks very protective too. What a great shot and display of love and family!

Artist Reply: perhaps I should have given more details; these are two mothers and their calves; I kept a respectful distance, used my zoom and always made sure their human keepers were closer than I was!! my friends can pat them and love on them up close as they are not aggressive with those they know especially :)
