Artist Reply: Thanks much Brenda. The photo is of The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) on Duomo Square in Florence, Italy. It was Brunelleschi's Renaissance Masterpiece completed in 1496. You can climb inside the dome to the very top of it. It's a scary walk and climb. The Bell tower on the left is 212 feet high with 414 steps to reach the top. I climbed both!!! The photo was taken at sunset from Michalangelo Piazza on a hill overlooking the town of Florence. Hope this helps.
