This has a wonderful feeling of movement to it. Please could you tell me what kind of pastels you used, the chalky ones or oil. Whatever, this is stunning work!

Artist Reply: Yeah, making the hair flow really added to the life in the painting. I always use the chalky ones, haven;t used oil pastels since childhood, can't really work so well with it.
